ABOUT
Susan Brand grew up on border of Texas and Mexico.
After graduating from the Art Center College of Design, she moved to New York. She animated, designed and directed animation and special effects for several New York production houses, including The Ink Tank, R/GA, and Colossal Pictures. In 1990 she started her own studio on Union Square and continued to animate, design, and direct for broadcast, computer games, film and the internet. Past clients include, Nickelodeon, AT&T, Encyclopedia Britannica, Citibank, TheStreet.com, AOL, and the American Museum of Natural History.
Over the past several years she has returned to painting and collage. She also creates children's books and illustrations. Her focus is Natural Science
She has one wonderful husband, two amazing boys, and a terrific garden.
