About
Susan Brand grew up on border of Texas and Mexico.
After graduating from the Art Center College of Design, she moved to New York and illustrated, designed, directed and animated for film, broadcast, children's software and the Web.
Over the past several years her focus has shifted to illustrating and writing children's books, painting botanicals and natural science subjects, and collage.
She has one wonderful husband, two amazing boys, a mean cat, and a terrific garden.
